This account, originally owed by me, was purchased by a third-party debt collector or sold and the balance has not been updated correctly. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX SOLD THE ORIGINAL BUT MY BALANCE DOESNT REFLECT THE SOLD / ACCURATE AMOUNT DUE ON MY CREDIT REPORT - ACCOUNT # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX AND XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX SOLD THE ORIGINAL BUT MY BALANCE DOESNT REFLECT THE SOLD / ACCURATE AMOUNT DUE ON MY CREDIT REPORT - ACCOUNT # XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I am requesting that the inaccurate entry be deleted immediately in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.The following issues have been identified with the reporting of this account : 1. Incorrect Account Status : The status of this account does not reflect the actual condition of the debt. 2. Incorrect Amount : The amount reported is not accurate. The debt was settled for less than the original balance owed, and my credit report does not reflect this. 3. Incomplete Information : The credit report does not include the necessary and accurate information regarding the payment made by the third-party debt collector, nor the accurate settlement amount. As per Section 1681i ( a ) of the FCRA, I have the right to dispute any information on my credit report that I believe to be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
