The original debt was from XXXX XXXX XXXX ; XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, SD, XXXX. ( XXXX ) XXXX. They are no longer in business. They brought me to court for a civil suit and won, I was to pay {$1100.00} with court costs, interest, et. on XX/XX/XXXX. I have never made any payments towards this amount. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called and set up payments to pay XXXX XXXXmonth plus extra whenever I could afford to do so. I paid {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I logged on online and seen my amount due was now {$1900.00} ; which was almost doubled of what I owed. I stopped making anymore payments. I received a letter from Clark County Collection Service stating I owed XXXX XXXX XXXX still with a larger amount of {$1900.00}. The letter contained the following : Notice of Levy to Defendant and to Garnishee and Notice to Defendant, Plaintiff 's Affidavit for Garnishment, Garnishee Summons and Continuing Lien, Garnishment Disclosure and a prepaid postage. I called multiple times to discuss this with a member of the company to get information on why I have more due than agreed upon. I was never given a call, e-mail or any follow up letter with this information requested. I have a letter that states I need to dispute the debt by XX/XX/XXXX if I don't agree with the amount of {$1100.00}. I never called because I did agree on that amount. I want to get this debt settled because it has been 10 years and I want to move on.
