I am a victim of identity theft. I filed an FTC Identity Theft Report ( # XXXX ) and properly notified Equifax of fraudulent accounts reporting on my credit file. Specifically, the following accounts are not mine and were opened without my knowledge or consent : These accounts are being reported as collections and do not appear on my XXXX XXXX XXXX reports. I submitted my dispute to Equifax along with my FTC report and requested they block the information under FCRA 605B. Equifax refused to remove the accounts and failed to provide any method of verification, which violates FCRA 611.
