Apparently, {$120.00} payment was made to a closed account. Barclay has the credit and I have called twice to have the amount moved from the closed card to the card where the balance owed. Barclay said that they would remove late fee and interest and account would be paid in full. I asked to close the account, also requested that they should not add negative information to my credit report. They said on credit report only voluntary closure would show. I looked at credit report today and they have reported me as being late. Not true and unfair. Thank you for looking into this issue.
