I am filing this complaint because multiple unauthorized accounts are being reported on my credit file without my knowledge, consent, or legal authorization, which constitutes a direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically under 15 U.S.C. 1681b and 1681i. I have never given written permission to the furnishers of these accounts to report my personal non-public information to the credit reporting agencies. There was no disclosure, no opt-in, and no valid or permissible purpose under the law to allow this reporting. This is an intrusion into my financial privacy and a misrepresentation of my creditworthiness.
