Dear [ XXXX Customer Service or General Manager ], I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding my recent experience with XXXX, a company I have trusted and rented from exclusively for over 20 years. Until now, I have never faced discrimination, mistreatment, or humiliationbut my recent experience has left me feeling disregarded, powerless, and unfairly targeted. My personal vehicle was in the repair shop, so I reserved a rental online at a location that showed available vehicles. Upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation did not exist. Despite having a printed confirmation, the staff refused to acknowledge it and dismissed me, advising me to " come back later. '' When I inquired about the wait time, a male employee mentioned they were expecting returns soon, so I opted to stay. '' I explained that I did not believe I was rudeonly frustrated at the clear discrimination I had experienced. His response was alarming : he told me he did not like my tone or attitude and that he would refuse to rent to me entirely. To make matters worse, when I later sought a rental at XXXX, I was informed that a credit report issue was preventing me from securing a vehicle. Upon review, I discovered that the General Manager had accessed my credit report without my knowledge or consent and had performed three separate hard inquiries on different dates, negatively affecting my financial standing. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX, and this unjust treatment has severely impacted my ability to receive necessary XXXX XXXX and secure transportation. I am requesting immediate action on the following : A formal review and reprimand of the employees involved in this incident. The removal of the unauthorized hard inquiries on my credit report.
