This is an additional complaint subsequent to COMPLAINT ID XXXX SUBMITTED ON XX/XX/year> I submitted a complete mortgage assistance application to M & T Bank and was offered a non-VASP modification. After making a qualifying payment on XX/XX/year>, I formally requested reconsideration based on a material change in circumstances. I submitted a RESPA Notice of Error, invoked military hardship and SCRA protections, and emphasized the urgency due to the closing of the VA Servicing Purchase ( VASP ) program on XX/XX/year>. M & T acknowledged escalation, requested updated financials, and informed me the prior modification was being set aside for review. However, despite my repeated requests and their verbal confirmation of review, M & T failed to submit documents to the VA before the VASP program closed ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have now lost access to a critical home retention option due to the servicers failure to act.
