XX/XX/year> I received an email at XXXX XXXX that I have signed up is approved for a Capitol One credit card, which to my knowledge, I have never signed or contacted with Capitol One Bank ever. I took action on XX/XX/XXXX to call Capitol One ( XXXX ) to confirm with them that an account under my name has been opened with the bank. I asked for information and a transcript of the conversation which I did not receive despite providing all my information : email, address, DOB, and social security number. The agent whom associated themselves as XXXX told me that the account will be closed. I am unable to access the Capitol One account as it has been set up WITHOUT my knowledge.
