Checkr background check company has my report as pending for an estimated XXXX. I asked what the hold up was and they wouldnt provide me any information. Then I reached out to the company that is hiring me contingent on the background check and they looked at it from there end and sent me what was holding it up as pending. Its 3 DMV tickets in Kansas, XXXX from XXXX, and XXXX from XXXX. They have these as areas of concern. These are from XXXX plus years ago and the one from XXXX is almost XXXX ago. This is a blatant violation of the FCRA. The state of kansas only allows reporting for up to XXXX back. Im very upset by this violation to my rights and especially my privacy. Not to mention this could hinder me from getting a job. Its also humiliating for an employer to be able to see things I did as a young adult that has zero barring on who I am today.
