Subject : BHFC Financial Services Misreporting Repossession, Title Negligence, Insurance Misconduct, and Lack of Communication This is a follow-up complaint regarding BHFC Financial Services and their mishandling of my auto loan after the second repossession of my vehicle. THIS IS A SEPERATE COMPLAINT FROM THE FIRST, THE FIRST COMPLAINT OS SBOUT THE FIRST REPOSSESSION, THUS IS SBOUT THE SECOND REPOSSESSION, AND AFTER. Unfortunately, I was unable to redeem the vehicle after the second repossession. I had hoped to put all of this behind me. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX House asking me to send them the title, as per a settlement I had supposedly agreed to. I was completely XXXX had never received a sale notice and didnt even know the car had gone to auction. When I called XXXX, they told me the vehicle was set for sale and needed a salvage title, as it had been totaled. I had no idea what this had to do with me. BHFC repossessed the vehicle in XXXX, yet as of XXXX, the car was still titled in my name, with BHFC listed as the lienholder. XXXX, I checked with the XXXX, and they confirmed itno title transfer had occurred. I called BHFC and asked why the title was still in my name. Their response was shocking : Its a mess, but not your problem ( I recorded this conversation ). But if its not my problem, why was I getting contacted to send in a title for a vehicle I no longer own? Further concerns : BHFC claims the vehicle was sold in XXXX for {$11000.00}, yet I was never notified, and the title remained in my name months later. Why did the insurance company contact me if BHFC had already sold the vehicle? Was there force-placed insurance still active on the vehicle during this time? I then reviewed my credit report, which raised even more red flags : It shows the vehicle was repossessed in XXXX, yet says I was 120 days late in XXXX is inaccurate. I redeemed the vehicle in XXXX ( after the first repossession ), with the understanding I was caught up at that time. They continue to report the loan as repossessed, even after claiming it was sold in XXXX. I paid {$14000.00} for the vehicle, redeemed it once, and had it since XX/XX/year>. They say it sold for {$11000.00}, yet I allegedly still owe over {$3000.00}. This would mean, somehow, in over 18 months I only paid $ XXXX made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails requesting clarification. I have received no response. Requested resolution : Due to this mishandled repossessi, I was left without transportation, which led to the loss of my job. This has caused me significant emotional and financial distress. Immediate correction of credit reporting Written documentation of sale, title, and insurance Complete breakdown of charges and payments A formal apology and financial compensation for damages, including loss of income and stress caused by their mismanagement.
