I recently filed a dispute with the credit reporting companies ( TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian ) regarding a collection account from XXXX XXXX. The result of that dispute ( Reference # : XXXX ) clearly stated that the account was deleted from my credit file. However, as of today, the XXXX XXXX account is still appearing on my credit report. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681i, as Equifax is inaccurately reporting the results of a reinvestigation. Additionally, there are two collection accounts on my credit report one from XXXX XXXX XXXX and one from XXXX XXXX XXXX that I am unable to dispute through any online dispute center. These accounts are actively affecting my credit, yet the credit reporting companies have provided no accessible method for me to challenge their accuracy. This denies me my right under the FCRA to dispute any item in my report. I am requesting : Immediate removal of the XXXX XXXX collection from my credit file per the dispute outcome.
