I had setup auto pay with XXXX for automatic payment of my bills while they receive XXXX from my store card company. It has been working for more than a decade. In the month of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year>, the XXXX autopay system failed to process my bills. I didn't receive any notifications of failure. I was assuming the it is working fine and bills are being paid as they have been for years. I didn't know about this failure until the store card company issuing bank sent me letter of delinquency in XXXX. I paid the amount in full and later called them and settled the issue and they reversed the late fees and interest charged. However they had reporting these two late payments to two of the credit reporting agencies and that adversely affected my FICO score - the score came down from XXXX to around XXXX in about two months ( which is another issue I have- they didn't take into consideration that I am XXXX XXXX to other credit cards and financial companies and these missed payments were for around {$650.00} ). Anyhow, I called the store card issuing bank to remove those two late payments from my credit history as they were not intentional or my inability to pay. It was a system fault. They are asking for a letter from XXXX stating this. I called XXXX, they see that there were failures of auto payments however they are refusing to issue me a letter. This is a grave issue for me. The incorrect FICO score is significantly impacting my ability to get new products and services.
