I am requesting an investigation of the following data that appears on my credit report. Specifically, Im disputing the records that your company is sending to the credit reporting agencies. When I disputed this record with the credit bureaus, they stated the information was verified. However, because credit recording agencies often use software that doesnt provide complete investigations, I am disputing the information directly with you. This is my right under section 623 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). If you can not perform this type of investigation or locate all of the records to investigate this dispute, please update the credit bureaus to remove the information. Im also asking that you send your method of investigation, along with all records, as well as documentation that proves the account belongs to me. Then I may conduct my own investigation. In accordance with the 15 U.S.C. 1681 aka the Fair Credit Reporting Acts ( FCRA ), I am practicing my right to challenge questionable information that I have found on my personal credit report. I do not recognize the information listed below and request that you investigate the source of these accounts and ascertain that the creditor had a permissible purpose and is able to verify my complete file information including full name, address, date of birth, and SSN #. Pursuant to FCRA {$1600.00} under reinvestigation procedures, youre allowed 30 days to complete this investigation, after which I authorize you to mail me my updated credit reports along with the investigation results. I am asking that you verify the account directly with the source of the information. If the account is verified, I will require that you provide me the mode and method of communication and verification you received from the furnisher.
