Equifax is claiming they need identity verification to correct my name, yet their own dispute results and mailed communications show my corrected name already in use. XX/XX/XXXX dispute shows my correct middle name. On that same document they show the incorrect name as verified and request documentation to verify. They contradicted themselves. I previously sent a dispute with screenshot proof that I uploaded my drivers license in order to submit the name dispute. This confirms they received and verified my ID. The usps from XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX have not returned my documents mailed to Equifax XX/XX/XXXX. Equifax got the documents. Their repeated requests for identification verification are a delay tactic, and no further documents will be provided. This is noncompliance with FCRA dispute resolution timeframes and procedures. Equifax is playing with my name. Using XXXX variations every time they mail me is so ridiculous.
