Due to the unreasonable and repeated rejection of mailed payments, I fulfilled the loan via XXXX XXXX XXXX payments totaling {$6000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/year>, effectively paying off the balance in full. These payments were processed and completed by XXXX. Attached are the following documents in support of this dispute : XXXX official payoff statement dated XX/XX/year>. Copies of returned checks with XXXX rejection letters dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/year>. XXXX XXXX receipts and bank statements confirming the final payoff via debit. Proof of timely and good-faith attempts to satisfy the debt prior to the alleged late payment. XXXX XXXX reporting of a late payment in XX/XX/year> is factually incorrect and does not reflect my good faith efforts, the documented timeline of payments, nor the actual payoff completion. As required by FCRA 1681i, I respectfully request : Immediate reinvestigation of the disputed information. Removal or correction of the inaccurate late payment reporting from my credit file. Notification of the corrected results to all who have received my credit report in the past 6 months. Additionally, under FCRA 1681n and 1681o, I reserve the right to seek statutory damages, actual damages, attorneys fees, and costs due to Ally Financials willful and negligent noncompliance with the FCRA after providing sufficient documentation.
