Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am filing this complaint to formally dispute a charge-off reported on my credit file by XXXX. Another major concern is the lack of communication and poor customer service I have encountered while trying to resolve this matter. When requesting to speak to a supervisor, I have been refused transfers, and the wait times to speak to someone are often over an hour. This lack of response and support has only added to my frustration. As a retaliation by XXXX, they have sent my account to a collections agency and charged my account off unlawfully. I am requesting the CFPBs assistance in investigating this matter and ensuring that the creditor provides proper documentation to validate the charge-off or corrects the reporting on my account.
