I disputed credit control which in return cease collection and return account to XXXX XXXX both which are reporting on my credit for the same amount which is a violation of my rights 15 U.S.C 1692 To Whom It May Concern : I am writing in regard to your attempts to collect a debt, referenced as account number [ Insert account number if known ]. Pursuant to my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692c ( c ) ), I hereby request that you cease and desist all communication with me regarding this alleged debt. Please note that continued contact from your agency may constitute a violation of federal law and can result in legal action being taken against you. This request applies to all forms of communication, including but not limited to phone calls, letters, emails, and messages to third parties. The only exceptions permitted by law are notices regarding specific legal actions you intend to pursue.
