I sent a wire transfer for {$2600.00} on XX/XX/year> to a vendor in XXXX for a payment for my upcoming wedding. The funds were supposed to arrive on XXXX and online I could see that the wire looked to be completed. The vendor let me know that they had not received the funds, so I called Wells Fargo on XXXX to investigate. They let me know the wire was completed and went through so they needed to look into why the recipient did not receive the funds. I used the correct XXXX number and routing number and the recipients info was correct. They said they would have an update for me in XXXX business days. I called to check in around day XXXX, spent a half hour on the phone and was transferred 3 times to tell me that the case was still in progress. I called back on the XXXX business day and I have been on the phone for a half hour, and transferred 4 times and still have no update. Given this vendor did not receive payment, I had to pay another way and now I am out an extra {$2600.00} because Wells Fargo has not returned the funds or provided me with an update on where the funs are and when I will get them back.
