I am submitting this complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) for engaging in deceptive practices, wrongful account closure, and harmful dual credit reporting related to a debt they charged off and sold to a third-party collection agency. 1. Deceptive Practices & Wrongful Account Closure XXXX XXXX closed my account without proper notice or just cause, despite prior communications suggesting otherwise. Their actions were misleading and conducted in bad faith, violating my trust as a customer. I was not given a fair opportunity to resolve the matter before the account was shut down. 2. Improper Dual Credit Reporting After charging off the account, XXXX XXXX sold the debt to a third-party collection agency. However, they continued to report the charged-off account to credit bureaus while the collection agency is also reporting the same debt. This results in double reporting of the same obligation, unfairly inflating my overall debt load and causing additional and unnecessary harm to my credit score. 3.
