A XXXX credit line was opened fraudulently in my name in XXXX of XXXX. They used my phone number and personal info to do so. In XXXX of XXXX when I discovered the fraud I called XXXX to report the fraud and was advised to close the account during their investigation and to make the monthly payments in the interim. I did not hear back from XXXX for months and when I called back to check in I find that not investigation was started so I file XXXX again. The results of the investigation were that since I made payments to the account ( under their advisement ) that that was enough proof to deny my fraud investigation to have the debt erased. My XXXX account was completely deleted so I didnt have any access to the XXXX credit account to get updates and handle things. When I tried to resolve it again they were extremely unprofessional and unhelpful that even if XXXX of their employees advised me wrongly that that is not on them and doesnt reflect in their records. So not only are they trying to put the fraudulent debt on me but also dismissing all of the payments I already made to the account. This is completely unethical and manipulative. They have now reported it again to TransUnion and have continued to send bills and harassing calls.
