AFTER researching their protections against fraud / scams, i downloaded the app and made a payment to someone on XXXX XXXX for kitchen cabinets. Upon arriving at the address given for pickup, I discovered it was a fraudulant ad as the person at said address had no knowledge of the post and/or person i had paid. I immediately contacted Chime with this info and opened a dispute. Less than 48 hrs later, Chime informed me the claim was denied despite me advising I had NUMEROUS messages back and forth about the ( fraudulent ) transaction.
