What happened? I am filing a formal dispute and complaint against CCS Collection Services for reporting two alleged collection accounts under my name and Social Security number that I do not recognize, do not owe, and never authorized : Account # XXXX | Balance : {$1100.00} | Original Creditor : Government Employees in CO** Account # XXXX | Balance : {$2800.00} | Original Creditor : Progressive Insurance** I have no contractual relationship or prior dealings with either of the listed original creditors regarding these alleged debts, and I have never received any proper billing statements, verification, or communication related to these accounts. This reporting appears to be erroneous, unverifiable, and inaccurateand constitutes violations of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA 1681s-2 ( b ) ) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA 1692e, 1692f, and 1692g ). To date, CCS Collection Services has failed to provide me with : A signed contract or agreement proving I authorized or owe this debt, Documentation validating the amount, origin, or legal responsibility for the accounts, Proof of legal right to collect in my state, Full account-level transactional history for either debt, And timely validation as required by law under FDCPA 1692g ( b ). These accounts have negatively affected my credit score and my ability to access essential financial resources. Their continued reportingwithout proper verification or legal basishas caused significant emotional distress and harm to my financial health. In addition, I am formally invoking my rights under federal consumer protection laws to demand that CCS Collection Services cease and desist all further communication and collection activity related to these alleged debts.
