I am submitting this complaint regarding a XXXX collection account previously removed from my credit report. Experian and Equifax specifically. This account has now been reinserted without proper notice. According to the FCRA - section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ), a consumer reporting agency must provide the consumer with written notice within five business days if previously deleted information is reinserted into a credit report. I was not notified. This account is inaccurate and is causing damage to my credit report. I have disputed it, and its reinsertion without proper written notification is a direct violation of federal law. This account was originally removed after I submitted formal disputes citing inaccurate reporting and lack of verification of the debt. The credit bureaus deleted the account following these disputes, which confirms they found the information to be unsubstantiated.
