I was never notified by PayPal that my account had gone into a negative balance. I accidentally discovered it while logging in, and found a charge of {$13.00} from XX/XX/XXXX that left my account at {$12.00}. At no point did I receive any email, push notification, or alert regarding this balance or the failed payment. To make matters worse, my account is now locked. Ive tried repeatedly to resolve the balance, but all top-up attempts have been deniedeven though the amount is small and Ive linked legitimate funding sources. Because of this lock, I am unable to fix the issue. I find this completely unacceptable, especially given that PayPal does not offer any way to contact support on XXXX. I was never given a chance to address or even be aware of the problem, and now Im being penalized for their lack of communication. I want this resolved immediately. I also want to ensure this will not impact my credit or result in harassment from debt collectors over a situation PayPal never properly disclosed or allowed me to resolve.
