On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a promotional Wells Fargo coupon offer offering {$120.00} if I open a new checking account. I decided that is a good offer and proceeded to open up the account online. I connected my XXXX information, contacted my employer to redirect my direct deposit and plan to come to a local branch to deposit some cash Sadly, on Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, I receive notification from Wells Fargo that they have decided to close my account because I allegedly had to many claims on a previous account in XXXX. I have nothing negatively reported on my XXXX, XXXX XXXX, or any other reporting agency. Wells Fargo failed to give me an opportunity for a fair banking relationship. I requested a lower risk product or account and I was denied that also I also mentioned my account can be monitored for further establishing the banking relationship. I also asked for a written, detailed reason why Wells Fargo made this unfair decision and was denied that. Perhaps, I did make some banking mistakes over five years ago, but people change to become responsible with their finances just as when inmates get released from prisons they changed their life
