I was a victim of cyber fraud. All other card companies resolved quickly. It took Barclays aviator XXXX company months to unfreeze my card. They would not accept payments from me and charged me late fees and penalties, lowered my credit limit and reported me to the XXXX credit agencies for late payments. My score was in the XXXX and they caused it to go down to the XXXX. There are no other late payments on any other cards I have. They actually froze me out of my account. They requested mail-in documents and re-requested when they were exactly what they were wanting. It took months and now my credit is ruined. I want this fixed on the credit reporting agencies and want my money refunded for late fees. This is not the way to treat customers who have never been late with payments before this issue. Im a XXXX and this has caused me much stress. Im needing to move and buy a house and trade in my 9 year old car. Barclays credit card misinformation will hurt me in that process. They have records/recordings of my phone calls throughout the months of my attempts to make payments that they wouldnt accept. They have recordings of the many times Ive called trying to resolve but the only notes I have are once they transferred me to XXXX different people, called on XXXX and again back and forth between people and again ( I believe XXXX ) and no solution nor hope of solving the issue.
