In response to my CFPB complaint titled XXXX dispute XXXX which has the enclosed documents of my FTC affidavit, my high quality ID, proof of address ( credit card statement ), and a letter. TransUnion fictitiously sent me a secure email saying the identity theft report enclosed saying the document was not acceptable. This document came from the FTC.gov- When I spoke to XXXX who is the supervisor in the special handling department and asked why did I get this message, he informed me that he's not sure. I asked him how did TransUnion come to the conclusion it is not a valid FTC report he word for word told me " I have no idea ''. TransUnion does not appear to be taking this document serious and the CFPB needs to check what type of " investigations '' TransUnion are conducting. They have given me XXXX reason or proof on how they came to the conclusion my document can not be accepted. I am attaching a copy of my original complaint, Transunion 's # Secure email, and my valid original FTC as a stand alone document for review. This is completely unacceptable and under 605B I demand TransUnion remove this account. I have called them many times and they never stated how they came to the conclusion of any investigation. TransUnion is completely bypassing compliance procedures to stall investigations on purpose. The very act of this is damaging and unacceptable to the consumer.
