My navy federal credit union account was overdrafted after a check came in for {$7500.00} the bank made it available to me for XXXX almost XXXX weeks and then the check came back as negative they withdrew XXXX from the account, and so therefore it was overdrafted by - {$2000.00} at first, I am unsure of why it came back bounced, but I did make them aware that I would take care of the funds, upon this they charged my account with {$300.00} extra dollars, for no reason and did not make me aware, I had my only tax refund in the amount of {$2100.00} that went into the account and was deposited before it hit, I notified the IRS and they said it was too late, I also kept calling the bank and they said it was nothing they could do even upon trying to get my refund back, they still insisted that there is nothing I could do, I want to know is there any way I can go ahead and file a claim against this bank and possibly get my tax refund back?
