The collection agency LVNV funding LLC called me at XXXX. The first young man was nice when I told him that I wanted to settle the account with the original creditor since they offered to settle with me for a lower amount. He told me he could ask his supervisor to match the amount and transferred me. The lady kept pressuring me to make a payment plan, so I agreed to make on next month since I dont have any money at the moment. The lady became irate and kept telling me that I couldnt settle with the original creditor, even though the creditor said I could. I told her to call me in about a month to give me time to XXXX ) get money since I just started my new job and XXXX ) could reach out to the original creditor. The lady continued to ask for my card information ( I would never do this over the phone and told her to email me online payment information ). I told her no and to call me in a month. She got angry and hung up on me. I was polite during the whole conversation. I could have hung up the phone too, but I didnt.
