Our house burned down on XXXX XXXX. Our insurance, XXXX XXXX, sent a payment to Freedom Mortgage in XXXX. They entered into their system on XXXX XXXX. They did not apply it to the or loan. It is just sitting there. They are saying we are behind and are adding up late fees. They were sent a letter saying we want the house paid off and they continue to say we are behind and when you call them, they send you to XXXX different people and none of them have any answers, so they cut you off. Our insurance agent tried to help us, and they did the same thing to him. Meanwhile it is being reported to credit bureaus that we are behind. We have never, ever been behind with them. We live on SS, so all our bills have to get paid as soon as our check comes in because we only get one check a month. Every bill we have gets paid at once. We need someone to make them apply the money and take the late fees off.
