On XXXX, I contacted all three credit bureau ( Transunion, Equifax, Experian ) each by phone informing them that there are numerous inquiries on my credit report from companies that I did not give permission to run a credit check. I informed all XXXX credit bureaus that I recently sort an equity loan on my mortgage and was denied. XXXX of the main reasons for the denial was the amount of inquiries on my credit report. I informed the credit agencies that the majority of those inquiries I did not give authorization and I want them removed immediately. I ran off a list of inquiries that I did not authorized. I received an email from the credit bureaus indicating an important message is awaiting for me and that I should log into my account. I logged into my account and read a message stating that inquiries have to remain on my credit report for up to XXXX years. I found this message upsetting especially after i informed the credit bureaus that I did not authorized these inquiries.
