On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a debt validation letter via certified mail to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX which they never responded to. Despite their failure to validate the debt, TransUnion and Experian are still reporting it as verified. Under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), a debt must be properly validated upon request, and failure to do so means it should not be reported. I previously submitted my certified mail receipts as proof in a prior CFPB dispute, yet both bureaus have failed to remove this unverified account.
