American Express canceled my card without my permission! this is XXXX of the oldest card on my credit report and by AMEX closing it they destroyed my whole credit card without a proper cause. I have made my payment all the times with them without any delay and I have proof that I have 100 % on Time payment. I called them asking why they did that? they said because there was some return payment from my personal bank the one I use to pay my AMEX card. I told them that it is not my fault and they should have contacted me and my bank on a conference call to see what is the issue. However, all my payments were on time and some time ahead of my due date. I asked them why they didn't notify me at least before making this decision and no answer were provided except sorry but we can't re-open your account but we can open a new credit card for you XXXX XXXX!! I told them I don't want to open a new account, I want my card back and this action destroyed my credit score and I was unfairly treated by American express. Please help
