I am a victim of identity theft. Experian is reporting multiple accounts, addresses, and a XXXX XXXX bankruptcy that are inaccurate, unauthorized, and directly tied to fraudulent activity. I submitted a written dispute with full identity theft documentation, including FTC reports and a police report, on XX/XX/year> via XXXX XXXX Mail ( Tracking # : XXXX ) to Experians dispute department. Despite this, Experian failed to investigate, failed to block fraudulent data as required by 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2, and continues to report false information in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). These include : Fraudulent Accounts : XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX False Public Record : XXXX XXXX Bankruptcy Reference # : XXXX Inaccurate Name and Phone Number : XXXX XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX Addresses Ive never lived at Experian Report # : XXXX ( Dated XX/XX/year> ) Experian is in violation of FCRA 1681e ( b ), 1681i, and 1681c-2, and their continued noncompliance has caused ongoing harm to my credit profile. I am requesting the CFPB require Experian to : Permanently delete the fraudulent accounts and public record ; Correct all inaccurate personal data ; Provide a full reinvestigation summary and corrected report by mail.
