I had a hospital stay between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I received my first bill for {$2200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received additional statements stating that the bills I received the day before were past due. Between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX I received numerous additional bills dictating how the amount insurance was billed and how much I owed. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a final statement after the full amount was billed to insurance stating that I, the patient, owed {$0.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from an agency explaining that the hospital sent the previous bill of {$2200.00} to collections. I submitted this complaint on XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX my case was closed after the company responded with a ledger from the original creditor. The XXXX listed on the ledger is {$0.00}, but that doesn't explain the {$0.00} statement balance listed in 2 other spots on the same ledger. I am, again, uploading my EOB from my insurance showing that I owe {$0.00} for the itemized services listed.
