I submitted a letter requesting goodwill forgiveness and removal of late payments on a leased vehicle that belonged to my ex-husband in which it was court-ordered that I be void from any responsibility for the vehicle or payments prior to late payments being made. I sent the divorce decree showing this order as well as a XXXX XXXX document signed by attorneys stating that I was to be absolved of this account and Nissan has refused to remove the late payments from my credit report. I can not purchase a vehicle due to this reporting on my credit and this was not a reflection of my personal payment history.
