My issue is not necessarily with the company. My issue is with how information is reported for mortgage loans. Mortgage companies can sell mortgages at will, which directly affects customers who hold those loans. When my previous mortgage holder sold our mortgage, that payment history just went away negatively affecting our credit. The age of our credit history is therefore incorrect because the years that we had that mortgage are no longer considered. Years of positive payment history is just gone. If nothing else, we need to know who to contact to change the regulations on how credit gets reported to the credit bureaus to make them more accurate.
