I am filing this complaint due to multiple violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) regarding the inaccurate and misleading reporting of a collection account from XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt originally from XXXX XXXX. Here are the specific violations that require correction or removal of this account : Impossible " Date Opened '' ( FCRA 609 Violation ) The collection account is reported with a future date ( XX/XX/XXXX ), which is impossible and a direct violation of the FCRA 's accuracy requirements. This false reporting is damaging my creditworthiness. Illegal Re-Aging of Debt ( FCRA 623 Violation ) The " Last Reported Date '' ( XX/XX/XXXX ) has been fraudulently updated to make the debt appear newer.
