To Whom It May Concern, In XX/XX/2025, I contacted Westlake Financial regarding the title for my vehicle, as I had fully paid off my car three years prior but never received the title. When I called, a representative informed me that I still owed a {$1000.00} balance due to a repossession fee. However, my car was never repossessed, and this charge appeared to be an unexpected balloon payment added to my account at the end of the loan term. I requested a copy of my payment history, and upon reviewing the document, I noticed that my final recorded balance was {$0.00}. However, at the top of the document, the agent had manually listed a {$1000.00} balance. When I brought this discrepancy to his attention, he was unable to provide a clear explanation.
