You are now in direct violation of both the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ). Under 15 U.S. Code 1681n ( Civil Liability for Willful Noncompliance ), 15 U.S. Code 1681o ( Civil Liability for Negligent Noncompliance ), and 15 U.S. Code 1692k ( Civil Liability for Violation of Debt Collection Practices ), your ongoing failure to provide accurate and verifiable data, and your negligence in updating my credit report, exposes you to legal liabilities.
