In XXXX last year, TD Bank offered an account opening bonus, but I was unsuccessful in opening an account online. After calling customer service, I was told that I could go ahead and open the account first and then call them to have the promotion code added. I went to a branch on XX/XX/year> to open the account and later called customer service, who confirmed that they had added the promotion codes for the {$300.00} bonuses for meeting the requirements of both the Checking and Saving accounts. This year, I called customer service multiple times, and each time they confirmed that I had fulfilled the requirements but needed to wait 180 days after account opening. However, now that I have met all the conditions, the bonus has not been credited. Customer service has denied responsibility, claiming that accounts can not be opened over the phone and refusing to issue the bonus.
