I received a Zelle for {$500.00} ( a paycheck ) approximately XXXX or XXXX years ago. Then around a year later my bank account was emptied and I was left with a negative balance. When I inquired as to why this happened I was told by my bank that it was a refunded Zelle. When I asked to speak with whoever was in charge with their Zelle department I was transferred to a voicemail. I made this request several times and I left many messages but no one picked up or ever called me back. I even tried to reach Zelle itself but I was told they do not have a customer service number so there was no way for me to speak with them directly. After a month of no resolution I stopped doing business with that account and opened another elsewhere, where I have been banking ever since and have vowed to never use Zelle again.
