I found the XXXX in my online account that reported {$0.00} interest paid for XXXX. I knew this was incorrect, as I have a record of XXXX payments totaling {$5900.00} in interest paid in XXXX. I reached out to NelNet ( the loan servicer ) on XX/XX/XXXX, and received XXXX different answers : XXXX ) I did not pay any interest in XXXX, XXXX ) I only paid {$410.00}, and XXXX ) I paid {$13000.00} in interest. I received a letter in XX/XX/XXXX saying that based on a lawsuit, my loans would be forgiven and payments refunded. I was told not to make any more payments. I continued to make payments as I could see the interest continuing to accrue. I don't see how interest can be accrued on money not owed. To date, I have not received forgiveness or a refund. As the servicer attempts to calculate my refund/forgiveness, the online account has waivered between much more than I ever owed and back to what I had owed before receiving the letter. I find all of these items abusive and deceptive.
