Years ago, I applied for a line of credit to improve my credit without getting a credit card. I got denied ; in that same year Navy Federal Credit Union were under fire for discrimination against their XXXX customers. I thought they had a good reason at the time to deny me credit so I have been working on it. This year my fianc car got repoed and we went to get a used car at XXXX in XXXX, OH. We were approved and told our monthly payment would be {$610.00}. I told my fianc let 's go to Navy Federal since their rates are lower and could get a lower payment. Now we were already approved for a {$18000.00} car with a {$600.00} note. I wanted to save as much money as possible. When I reached out yesterday for a loan on the app, I was denied again. I asked for {$22000.00} and it came up with a {$350.00} - $ 460 monthly note. I have been with this bank since XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the military. How did I get accepted at a civilian place but denied with them and they have a lower payment and interest rates? I've been a faithful customer to them. It could be a coincidence but I think it's something to consider. I went to find my application and it's not there.
