CFPB complaint against all 3 CRA. Equifax, Experian, TransUnion -did NOT do a an investigation of my claims provided through the XXXX. My dispute shows closed on XX/XX/XXXX, however I never received any documents of results of this investigation. At the same time, I received a letter from Equifax dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating they could not locate my profile and to send a copy of drivers license etc to verify identity. ; even though it is the SAME information that all 3 CRAs received and have responded to my claim using the Same information. How do you close a dispute but request info from me for this dispute? This is a condense that they cant locate me, but the other bureaus can. Experian & TransUnion : SAME as above. Improper investigation. Used same investigation reasons as previous. Inactive account option, which is not relevant to my dispute reason. Did not provide the documents previously requested. How was my dispute closed prior to a letter being sent out to me to send methods of proof of identity? How do you close a dispute that has not been investigated?
