Attempted twice today to make contact with Truist and come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. The first agent was the tough guy, pay up or else, kind of talk.. well that was about as welcoming as XXXX in a punch bowl. I asked for an address and i offered to surrender the vehicle in less than 30 minutes. he said i could not. i said i sure can, i will drive 10 minutes up the road park in front of Truist bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Texas, XXXX and give the manager the keys to my car and say thank you. He did not like that either, he was not willing to negotiate anything... we exchanged unpleantries and hung up. I called back and spoke to a very very nice female, polar opposite of the demeanor from the first gentleman. Explained my situation due to health problems i had fallen behind, but had made in excess of XXXX straight payments on autodraft not missing a beat! she was wonderful and polite and said let me see and let me see and let me see, but that resulted in much of nothing. I was supposed to receive a call, and there is a possibility i missed it, but i wanted it resolved on the phone, did my part. came up with i thought a more there fair proposal ... XXXX $ in two weeks, {$300.00} two weeks later, that 4 weeks later back to XXXX $ a month ... .now i am not nave that still leaves me two payments behind ... ..well, give me the address and i will turn it in within 30 minutes. you want the remainder of this XXXX loan or you want me to surrender this car, i will do it in a second. I am seeking a fair and manageable payment plan to make partial payments and then resume full payments in a months time. I want Truist to show good faith in negotiating. Please and thank you.
