I was contacted by independence home loans. I started to apply for a refinance. I paid for the appraisal. I was told the appraisal would cost XXXX, but they charged me XXXX for it. I got the appraisal complete. I was then made aware of different options I had by another company. I could apply for a 2nd mortgage and keep my 2.49apr on my original loan and I wouldn't incurr a bunch of closing cost. So I decided to move in that direction. When I started working with another bank I told them I had a appraisal already. So they requested my appraisal but independence home loans refuses to transfer it. When I called them they said they do 2nd morgages as well. I told him to quote me for it and refused to quote me a 2nd morgage. When I texted with XXXX from their company he was very rude and cruel and lied. I have text messages to confirm this accusation as well. As of right now they are holding appraisal XXXX because they treated me like a piece of trash and I went somewhere else.
