Ive been shopping for car insurance and discovered that an erroneous claim is being reported on my CLUE report which have been negatively impacting my insurance rates since XXXX. From what I recall, I contacted XXXX and inquired if something or someone was to strike my vehicle what would be the outcome regarding deductible and future insurance rates. Unbeknownst to me, the agent I spoke with, reporting this inquiry as a claim on my insurance file, thus creating a negative impact on my CLUE report and driving my insurance rates up. There was no payout for this inquiry and there should not have been a claim reported. This information needs to be deleted from my CLUE report immediately upon receipt of this notice as it was placed on my file erroneously and has resulted in financial strain.
