Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/XXXX, my paycheck was deposited into my bank account. I paid several bills and went to sleep. When I made it to work, I attempted to pay more bills and my debt card would not work. I checked my bank and saw that my account was XXXX, I also saw that my daughter 's account was negative. I could actually see the balances were not negative as we both had had recent deposits. I called the bank and was only told I had to call XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX. I called numerous times and did not receive an answer. It wasn't until XX/XX/XXXX when I pressed 3 ( the automated system stated that if you were a judge press 3 ). After being on hold for a long while, someone came on the phone and gave me the terms and told me that I had to sign a contract with them to get my money back. In the phone call it was stated that they would keep {$1000.00} of my account and release the remaining money and I would have to make payments of {$110.00} per month. I raised several concerns about the actual contract because the total dollar amount that they were requesting was vastly different than the amount that was stated that I owed. I also raised concerns because the contract did not state that they were keeping {$1000.00}, it stated {$1.00} or more. I asked that the paperwork reflect exactly what I was told and it never was corrected. I was also told that since my daughter 's account only had my name on it since it was opened when she was a minor that if we sent in a copy of her bank statement and 2 paycheck stubs that her account would be released. I was told that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 's office sends orders to unfreeze bank accounts twice a day and mine order would be sent in on XX/XX/XXXX. I have called several times over the last few days and do not get an answer. I did manage to talk to one person on XX/XX/XXXX and I was told that the order was sent ; I reached out to my bank and was told that an order was ever received. I have continued to send emails and phone calls to Michael J Adams PC to no avail. No one is responding, contacting me, or releasing my funds. After doing research, this account has been handled by multiple agencies and with each call, that agency tells me that they do not have information about the account. I was never served notice of a court date and had no idea that I had a judgment against me. As a resulted of not having access to my account, NSF fees are racking up and bills that I had paid are being returned. I am at a huge loss and have no idea on how to proceed.
