There was no money taken because there is no way Id place my money in there I went to apply for chime and they opened a account with just my word of my name and social security number never asked me to verify it or anything therefore anyone in the world all they need is my name address and social security number and they can open an acct and could potentially be used and destroy someones credit and they could also have illegal funds deposited and used on illegal purchases and transfers that could potentially cause me to be in serious trouble I think chime definitely needs to be investigated because anyone in the world could use someone elses name to do illegal activity and potentially ruin their credit with no proof of identity all is required is name address and a social security number.
